Text Complexity

                         
CCRS Anchor Standard 10: Read and comprehend complex literary and informational texts independently and proficiently.

How can we be sure that the text and the tasks we are assigning to students will help move them toward this standard? Educators should evaluate texts using these three criteria, as well as scaffolds and extensions for meeting the needs of all learners.
